Why We Built This Site
New York does not place every criminal record in one public database. In Seneca County, the arresting agency controls its report, the Correctional Facility creates the booking file, and the court of original jurisdiction preserves the filed charges and disposition. The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services keeps the official statewide repository, but it does not offer the public a name search for another person's rap sheet. The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision and the New York State Sex Offender Registry serve still different purposes. We organize verified contacts, official portals, request paths, and access limits so those distinctions remain clear.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We are not connected with Seneca County, any New York court, a police department, the Sheriff's Office, or a state agency. Those boundaries place firm limits on what we can provide:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file record-sealing papers, records requests, or other forms on anyone's behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
An official copy must come from its custodian, such as the Sheriff, the original court, or the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services. We can identify the route, but we cannot issue the document.
